Possible Worlds Film Festival
Finding time to sit down with can be difficult. The frenetic Frenchman is usually quite busy producing several festivals a year, plus pop up events across Sydney. Luckily we were able to grab him for a few minutes for this exclusive video interview.
Drector of The Festivalists, Mathieu Ravier, takes us through his vision for Sydney’s unique Possible Worlds American and Canadian Film Festival.
Founded in 2009 with the support of the Consulate General of Canada, Sydney, the festival presents the best Canadian and US films, like Our Man in Tehran, The Grand Seduction, Tom at the Farm, and many more. After ten nights in Sydney each August, the festival travels to Canberra and Perth.
We mixed it up with some choice thoughts from Toronto filmmaker Sara St. Onge, director of Molly Maxwell, who was in Sydney in 2013 to premiere her film.
Don’t forget to check out the cool crowd-sourced trailer that Canada Down Under created for the 2014 edition of the Possible Worlds festival.
