Health Hackathon Brisbane
Technology creators, healthcare professionals and stakeholders gathered in Brisbane recently for the 2015 Hacking Health @HIC Conference, also known as the 2015 “Hackathon”.
The Hackathon was part of HIC 2015, Australia’s largest e-health, digital health and health informatics event. The goal was to tackle real healthcare problems with interdisciplinary solutions. Brisbane’s Hackathon was a forum, a think tank and networking opportunity combined.
Canadian based Hacking Health partnered with HISA, the Australian digital health community to create Brisbane’s Hackathon. The Consulate General of Canada was pleased to support this Canadian-Australian partnership to find innovative and creative solutions to real world health and healthcare issues.
As part of the Hackathon, a contest was held to find the best digital solution prototype for a healthcare need. Find out more information here.
