The world-famous SXSW conference and festivals is coming to Sydney, Australia, from 15 to 22 October 2023! SXSW Sydney® is the most anticipated event in the Southern Hemisphere for creators and professionals looking to discover future trends and emerging technologies, as well as providing access to unparalleled networking opportunities. The event will take place within a walkable footprint across Sydney’s CBD and surrounding neighbourhoods Haymarket, Darling Harbour, Ultimo and Chippendale.

As part of the world’s largest festival for the music, screen, game, technology and innovation industries, the Consulate General of Canada in Sydney, in collaboration with Telefilm Canada, is proud to host CANADA HOUSE from October 18-20, 2023!

WHAT IS CANADA HOUSE?

CANADA HOUSE at SXSW Sydney® will be a creative hub that fosters connections, explores new business opportunities and showcases home-grown artists. Guests will be invited to discover Canada’s creative industries over the three days of activation, through a diverse programme. CANADA HOUSE will bring together Canadian companies looking to exchange ideas and meet key Australian players to forge long-term links and encourage future collaboration. It will also play host to artists from the music industry who will be performing and showcasing their talent.
